The XDI Climate Risk Hub offers world-class physical climate risk analyses on demand. Features: Instantly view asset or portfolio risk ratings. 5 risk rating bands are based on 10 hazards. Key metrics include Maximum Value At Risk and Productivity loss. RCPs and NGFS scenario, Annual analysis 1990-2100. Spatial resolution up to 5mx5m. Highly customisable.
XDI provides detailed insights into physical risk by combining engineering, hazard and context data with weather, climate, financial and other data. Asset engineering features that are vulnerable to damage or failure due to hazards are based upon 140 standard residential, industrial and commercial archetypes. These can be modified to test adaptation responses. Hazard probabilities are calculated based on historical weather data (1990 baseline), local environmental context, such as topography and soil composition, as well as flood mapping and other factors.
