Description
An SSL Certificate (Secure Sockets Layer) encrypts all data exchanged between your website and its users, employing the same advanced encryption techniques utilized by banks, government entities, and military organizations. Each transmission is secured with a minimum of 256-bit encryption, a level of security that would take millions of years to breach. Also referred to as TLS, this technology represents one of the most reliable methods for ensuring that the data sent to and from your website visitors remains protected through secure connections. In the current digital landscape, having an SSL/TLS Certificate on your website is essential rather than optional. These certificates not only safeguard your customers' information but also offer numerous advantages for your online business. With our expertise in Website Security, we can assist you in saving both time and resources by providing tailored support in selecting the ideal product to meet your specific needs, as well as during the installation or configuration of your chosen security solutions. This way, you can focus on your core business while we handle the intricacies of securing your online presence.
Description
You can either create or import TLS certificates and monitor their validity within the management console. Automatic retrieval and renewal of Let’s Encrypt certificates can be achieved easily, provided that you validate your domain ownership. Additionally, you have the option to manually upload certificates from external certification authorities and utilize them within Yandex Cloud. By selecting certificates from the Yandex Certificate Manager, you can enable HTTPS access for your static websites. It's essential to use domains with validated rights when interfacing with the API, as a certificate associated with the domain will facilitate a secure TLS connection. Once you upload or renew certificates, the changes will be reflected across all resources simultaneously. When generating a certificate, various verification methods can be selected, but for Let’s Encrypt certificates, only domain ownership verification is necessary. Notably, the Certificate Manager does not verify domain rights for user-uploaded certificates. This streamlined process enhances security and ensures that your web services remain reliably accessible.
