Robust and Comprehensive Endpoint Management Solution Date: Feb 20 2026
Summary: Before implementing Endpoint Central, endpoint management tasks like patching, software distribution, and asset tracking were fragmented and often manual. This led to security gaps, inconsistent configurations, and wasted administrative effort. After adoption, we achieved centralized, automated endpoint maintenance with improved compliance and reduced manual workload. The platform significantly streamlined IT operations, enhanced endpoint security posture, and provided better visibility into device health across the entire organization.
Positive: ManageEngine Endpoint Central delivers a unified platform for managing desktops, servers, and mobile devices across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. It simplifies patch management, software deployment, asset management, and remote control from a centralized console. Automated patching and compliance reporting help secure endpoints effectively, while the intuitive dashboards and granular policy controls make administrative tasks efficient. The tool’s support for mobile device management and OS imaging further enhances operational productivity for IT teams.
Negative: Initial setup and customization can be complex for first-time users, especially in large environments. Some advanced automation features and integrations may require higher-tier plans. Reporting could be more flexible in terms of custom visualizations, and occasional updates may need careful testing before rollout to avoid disruptions.

So much better than KACE Date: Sep 30 2021
Summary: Very easy to use, support is quick to help and available 24/7, overall great solution for 1k+ endpoints.
Positive: Automated, self service portal, integration with servicedesk, managed installs are very easy to set up, very easy to use for both techs and users, patch management is on point and constantly updated, AD sync and automatic agent installation is great, OS imaging and migration are also very easy to set up and use. Mobile device management is also a great addition if you have lots of corporate mobile devices to deal with.
Negative: Has to be restarted weekly for the web portal to keep working for techs, secure gateway server is considered an 'add-on' for an extra one time price, should be included in my opinion.

Robust UEM that replaces three different tools with a single, albeit complex, management console Date: Feb 19 2026
Summary: Shifted from manual WSUS patching to this. It stabilized our security posture and finally gave us visibility into our remote Mac users.
Positive: It’s a true Swiss Army knife. Having OS imaging, patch automation, and remote control in one agent saves us from tool fatigue.
Negative: The UI is very "nested" and cluttered. Also, the agent sometimes shows as offline when the machine is clearly on, requiring a service restart.

Was great, but they messed it up Date: Oct 13 2020
Summary: It's an expensive piece of software that doesn't work properly because the developers have written poor code.
Positive: Simple, easy to use and configure. Great self-service section - when it works. Easy for deploying software and current asset management.
Negative: Developers destroyed it with so many bugs and problems. Asset management doesn't retain a history of assets (even decommissioned ones) without paying extra per asset.
