horrible user experience Date: Nov 28 2025
Summary: THIS IS A LOUSY PRODUCT.
Positive: nothing -- it is a terrible product with a lousy user experience with no human support when you ask for help
Negative: This is a terrible product. I was gifted $20 from a vendor to use for a lunch and went through the hassle of downloading the app, etc. Then I tried to use the card online at one of the "curated" restaurants they work with. and the site could not handle a split payment, as my order was a little over $20. Then I went into the physical restaurant and they told me inside that they could handle split payments, so I ordered and tried to pay. It was declined the first time I tried to pay for the whole order (I was going to pay for the amount left with my own credit card), and then I asked them to put through the first payment for just $20 and it was also declined. So I paid for the whole order on my own credit card. 5 minutes after I got home, I got a text from "On Me" saying my card was declined because it was not enough to cover for a tip, and the text said I had to add an additional $15.36 to my "On Me" balance in order to pay for a $27 total order. What a rip off! I am not going to tip at a fast food restaurant and I just want to use the $20 I was gifted. Then the texts changed to "text HELP" if you need support, and after getting several of those same texts after I texted HELP, they sent me a text asking me to email them if I wanted help. Like a lot of companies now, I guess they are not using actual human beings to help their customers -- just AI bots.
